Mahjong Rules & Gameplay

Mahjong is a four-player strategy game where the goal is to build a winning hand using tile sets.

🔹 Basic Rules:

Each player starts with 13 tiles (the dealer begins with 14).

Players take turns drawing and discarding tiles to form valid combinations.

The objective is to complete a winning hand consisting of four sets + one pair.

The first player to complete their hand and declare “Mahjong” wins the round!

If all tiles are drawn and no one has won, the round ends in a draw.

🀄 Tile Combinations & Winning Hands:
✔ Pong – Three identical tiles (e.g., three Bamboo 2s).
✔ Chow – A sequence of three consecutive tiles in the same suit (e.g., 4-5-6 in Circles).
✔ Kong – Four identical tiles (grants an extra turn).
✔ Pair – Two identical tiles (e.g., two 8s).

Form four sets + one pair, and you can declare “Mahjong” to win the game! 🎉
